MY LOVE, Book & Movie

MY LOVE is a book and a movie dedicated to Kate Moss, born from the collaboration between Martine Brand and the fashion photographer Michel Haddi. Her first job as an executive film producer for the fashion boxing Movie ROMA directed by Michel Haddi.


Martine Brand’s illustration was published in Masters of Fashion Designers for John Galliano, published by Agostini Publishers.


Martine Brand’s classic master paintings are made from oil paint on panel. Martine uses the chiaroscuro, lighting technique from the 16th Century as well as the technology of that time. Her subjects are often inspired by strong women wearing the latest fashion or of the catwalk and jewelry from the major fashion designers. Even though Martine graduated successfully from the Fashion Academy as well as the Art Academy, she learnt this classical technique from her grand-mother Loeki Kleijn who has painting in her blood, a family member of the renowned Dutch landscape painter Johannes Kleijn, student of Andreas Schelfhout. Martine’s paintings were shown at the Grand Palais Paris, the Constantine Palace in Saint Petersburg, Art Monaco, an illustrated portrait at Art Dubai with the art curator Sheikha Lulu Al-Sabah, at the Pierre Cardin Museum, the Arts Décoratifs Le Louvre, Art Cologne, Fine Art Cologne, Art Rai, Art Rotterdam, Pan Amsterdam, Luxury fair Amsterdam, Art Miami, Contemporary Art Fair North Sea Jazz Singer Museum Laren. Together with art curator Jean-Christophe Amman. Banks such as UBS Bank and ABN AMRO collect her work. Martine presently works on a Royal show in the Palace Soestdijk, titled “ROYALS IN FASHION” with Her Majesty the Queen Duchess Maxima. Art curator Werner van der Belt is the art Curator for this project. Martine was nominated for the award of Federale Internationale Culture Price Française for her oil painting. Collectors around the world contact her for portrait assignments. Art collectors, art curators, dignitaries, sheiks or members of the Royal House are among her clients and collect her oil paintings as well as her fashion illustrations. Martine painted prestigious interieur for private clients around the world.

Martine was Executive film producer for “Roma” Boxing fashion movie directed by THE fashion movie director Michel Haddi.
